Reason Behind the Home Invasion
After being questioned by the police, the intruder revealed his motive: he wanted Do Kwon to take full responsibility for the downfall of Terra, which resulted in significant financial losses for investors. The disgruntled investor, who previously ran an internet-based broadcasting channel, addressed Kwon through reporters, highlighting that many investors had taken their own lives following the crash.
He also demanded that Kwon issue a public apology to over 200,000 investors who had lost money in the debacle. Earlier, Do Kwon had apologized on Twitter, expressing his sorrow for the suffering caused by his project. He mentioned that he had spent hours speaking to devastated investors after UST’s failure to maintain its peg to the dollar.
1/ Ég hef eytt síðustu dögum í símanum í að hringja í Terra samfélagsmeðlimi – byggingaraðila, samfélagsmeðlimi, starfsmenn, vini og fjölskyldu, sem hafa verið í rúst vegna UST aftengingar.
Ég er sár yfir þeim sársauka sem uppfinning mín hefur valdið ykkur öllum.

Consequences of LUNA’s Dramatic Fall
LUNA experienced one of the most significant losses in the history of cryptocurrencies, as noted by CryptoChipy. Previously ranking as the eighth-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, it plummeted to the 1070th position. Its value dropped to $0.00000009, resulting in enormous financial losses for investors.
This invasion didn’t come as a shock to many, given reports of even worse outcomes from this massive crypto collapse.
The financial devastation from the LUNA crash left thousands of investors with severe losses. Many, particularly those who had invested in Terra (LUNA), watched their investments evaporate, leading to irreversible financial damage. The crypto market has since been dominated by fear and uncertainty, especially with the recent 20% dip across most cryptocurrencies. Some investors have been reported to have contemplated or attempted suicide due to their significant losses.
Tragically, reports have surfaced of investors who lost substantial sums to the Terra project taking their own lives. Others have gone into hiding, as angry creditors sought answers. In some cases, those still at home had friends banging on their doors, demanding explanations and retribution.
Suicide Should Not Be Considered
In light of the tragic developments within the crypto industry, Shiba Inu’s lead developer, Satoshi Kusama, urged LUNA investors and others in the crypto space not to consider suicide as an option. Kusama encouraged investors to remain strong despite the ongoing downturn in cryptocurrency values.
He went on to share personal details of his life, revealing that he had faced some of the darkest moments, which led him to contemplate and even attempt suicide on multiple occasions. He expressed gratitude that all his attempts failed, and he now lives to share his story with others who may be struggling with similar thoughts.
Satoshi Kusama, the pseudonymous founder of Shiba Inu, believes that he has a greater purpose in life, explaining that perhaps this is why his attempts at taking his life were unsuccessful. He also reassured investors not to give up, as he believes cryptocurrencies are here to stay.
